Garden and Grounds
The Gardens
The gardens are extensive and well suited to a number of activities. Children may need to be supervised near the moot to the front of the house but the lawns are large enough to soak up excessive energy.
Hot Tub
The alfresco entertainment opportunities are made complete with the hot-tub bubbling away just feet from the terrace seating and easy access to the house. Younger guests can be supervised with ease from inside, or out, while friends reclining in the warm waters can shout their orders for Pimms.

Medieval Moat and Hidden Garden
There is a medieval moated island within the grounds of Rectory Park. This is believed to have been the site of the first rectory many centuries before and the moat is said to have been a defensive measure against unwelcome guests! The 'island' is a scheduled ancient monument so care must be taken when visiting it.
Parterre
Looking from the drawing room and dining room you will enjoy the formal parterre garden with its central fountain and water lilies. Marking the boundary of the formal garden is a ha-ha which divides the grazing pastures beyond and stretching out in front of you is the stunning Berkeley Vale.

Croquet Lawn and Petanque sand pit
A croquet lawn, petanque sand pit and children's swings complete the garden and grounds of this delightful and private house.

Terrace
An extensive terrace is situated beyond the morning room and is accessible from here and the kitchen. It is ideal for alfresco dining and perfect for keeping a watchful eye on young children as they play on the lawns.
