The House - Bedrooms
The bedrooms in Rectory Park are all named after Rectors of St John’s church. Our bedrooms feature pocket sprung mattresses, large duvets, and fluffy pillows for a sound night's sleep. Special support pillows are available upon request.
Master Bedroom - Goldesbrough
Named after the 18th Century Rector who built Rectory Park, this is the principal bedroom of the house and looks out over the parterre garden and meadows beyond. It is a bright and sunny room with a formal four poster bed and lots of style. It has an en-suite bathroom complete with double basins and under-floor heating.
Goodwin
Named after the 17th Century Rector, this airy double bedroom enjoys twin aspect views across the front drive and parterre respectfully. The typically English country house décor makes this room very popular with guests. It has an en-suite bath and shower room with under-floor heating.
Sherwin
Named after the 18th Century Rector, this comfortable double bedded room is situated at the top of the main landing. It looks out over the rear garden and open fields beyond. Cosy and inviting it also boasts a small library.
Caponhurst
Named after the 16th Century Rector, this elegant double bedroom looks out towards the medieval moat and the spire of St John’s church through the trees. The muted colour scheme is restful to the eye and with its own dedicated en-suite bathroom and dressing area Caponhurst is the perfect private space.
Holford
Named after the 17th Century Rector, this delightful double bedroom is situated in the cottage wing and looks out over the pétanque sandpit and lawns. Smaller than some of the other bedrooms, it does retain a charm and sense of cosiness.
