Lord Charles Grey

Master of the house and keen musician. Visit him in his music room where he likes to play the piano and sometimes the harp.

Lady Charlotte Grey

Lady of the house and keen horsewoman. Lady Charlotte is not on her horse today but you can see her passion for all things equine by looking around her bedroom. There are lots and lots of paintings of her favourite horses.

Mistress Georgina

For once Mistress Georgina is not running around in her play clothes. Today she is in her Sunday best but would like to play if you can come and join her.

Master Edward

The baby of the family and certainly the noisiest! Master Edward has his own nursery where he is looked after by Frappy.

Nurse Frap

Frappy, as the family call her, has been with Lord and Lady Grey for many years and is in charge of Georgina and Edward. She is very busy with her charges but likes to go down to the kitchen and have a cup of tea with Mrs Bridges the cook.

Parlour Maid Mabel

Mabel answers the door to visitors and generally keeps the house looking clean and beautiful. She is always busy but likes to rest her feet sometimes and can be found sitting in the big oak chair by the front door.

Lady’s Maid Bridgett

Bridgett has been with Lady Grey since she was a girl and is her Ladyship’s most trusted confidant. She makes sure Lady Charlotte is always ready to receive guests and is close friends with Mabel, the house parlour maid.

Mrs Bridges

Mrs Bridges is the cook at Little Rectory and a fine one she is too! She makes wonderful meals for all the family and likes to delight and surprise with her cakes and puddings. Tea is being served, can you see them on the dining room table?

Beau

Beau is Georgina’s pet dog. He loves to run around outside and likes nothing better that playing with his mistress on the roof terrace.
